The Niue Customs Service is issuing a reminder to all business ventures and members of the public about the procedures for the importation and clearance of goods into Niue.

In accordance with Section 52A of the Customs Act 1966, no goods will be released from Customs control unless the following requirements are fully met:

1. A full Goods Declaration is submitted through the ASYCUDA Customs automated system.
2. All applicable duties, taxes, and charges must be paid in full.
3. A release authorization is provided by Customs for the declared goods.

Customs and Supporting Officers will be on site to strictly monitor and inspect all incoming goods being offloaded from containers to ensure full compliance with Customs regulations.

Niue Customs Service encourages all importers and freight forwarders to follow the outlined procedures to avoid delays or issues with clearance. We appreciate your continued cooperation and commitment to following these legal requirements.
