The Government of Niue acknowledges and thanks outgoing Chief Executive Officer of Telecom Niue Limited, Mr Anurag Tandon, for his service and contribution to Niue’s telecommunications sector since 2022.
During his time with Telecom Niue Limited, Mr Tandon has contributed to the development of telecom services for the people of Niue, supporting the continued strengthening of connectivity and telecommunications infrastructure across the island. With the conclusion of Mr Tandon’s tenure, the Government extends its appreciation for his commitment and contribution to Niue over the past four years and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
The Government of Niue would like to congratulate his successor Mr Roy Pavihi on his appointment as the new Chief Executive Officer of Telecom Niue Limited.
Mr Pavihi brings with him many years of experience in Niue’s telecommunications sector. He joined the Information Systems Office in 2005 before moving to Telecom Niue Limited in 2007, where he has worked in various technical roles and contributed to the development and delivery of telecommunications services in Niue.
The Minister responsible for Telecom Niue Limited, Hon. Richie Mautama, congratulated Mr Pavihi on his appointment and expressed confidence in his leadership.
“Mr Pavihi’s journey from the Information Systems Office through to Telecom Niue reflects his dedication and commitment to Niue’s ICT sector. I congratulate him on this achievement and trust that his knowledge and leadership will guide Telecom Niue as it continues to evolve and meet the changing needs of our community,” said Hon. Mautama.
The Government looks forward to working alongside Mr Pavihi and the Telecom Niue team as they continue to strengthen telecommunications services, support Niue’s digital development and meet the evolving needs of the people of Niue.
